Debate “Electromobility and Autonomous Transport” during the Science and Technology Congress “Silicon Valley Poland Days 2019”

Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa has become a partner of the Science and Technology Congress “Silicon Valley Poland Days 2019” organized from May 1 to 3 by the Polish-American Cooperation Council at the Stanford University campus. Agnieszka Hankus-Kubica, Vice President of JSW Innowacje, presented the company’s ambitious plans related to the development of breakthrough technologies, including the AutoInvent system. Symposium was held under the slogan “Digital Distruption”, during which Polish and American scientists, experts, entrepreneurs and representatives of the state administration discussed the impact of new technological solutions on the economy as well as the opportunities and threats posed by the digital revolution. The participants of the three-day symposium exchanged knowledge and experience in the context of innovative, digital technologies for building a new economy 4.0, smart cities, cyber-security, modern health care, finance, modern energy and the mining industry. JSW Innowacje participated in the key debate “Electromobility and Autonomous Transport”. The panel leader prof. Piotr Moncarz from the Standord University and Artur Chmielewski from NASA, prof. Anna Timofiejjczuk from the Silesian University of Technology, Dr. Krzysztof Szczerba from Finisar and Dr. Agnieszka Hankus-Kubica from JSW Innowacje, despite different thematic presentations, confirmed the inevitability of the development of autonomous means of transport based on renewable energy sources.
