AutoInvent System in Lublin Airport

Between 26.09 and 02.10.2022 AutoInvent System was deployed in Lublin Airport. The main goal of the operational test deployment was verification of the possibility to use the System to evaluate condition of lights on glide paths, runway and taxiways as well as to detect larger foreign object debris (FOD). Accordingly to the review of the obtained data by Airport representatives, the objective of the deployment was achieved and the System can acquire data suitable for assessment of the state of the lights. Flights of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) were fully automatic, on various parts of the day, between scheduled flights. Preplanned missions were performed with agreement and approval of Lublin Airport management, under constant supervision of UAV operator and in coordination with PANSA representative in airport control tower. Representatives from other airports have been already interested in the data from AutoInvent System flights over the runaway in Lublin Airport.
